Rocdove is a small (read: personal) design studio focused on creating top-notch design work backed up by marketing savvy. With our clients, it’s not just about creating a gorgeous website or print campaign – it’s about the strategy behind it.

Rocdove offers a range of design and marketing services which are tailored to the particular needs of each client. These include branding and identity, online marketing, web and print design, illustration, and animation. We’re big believers in holistic, cohesive strategies, so we get especially excited with projects that bridge disciplines and let us flex all of our skills.

Who’s Behind it?

That would be me – Brendan Marnell. I have a degree in Fine Art and Communication from the University of Pennsylvania, and I’ve been designing professionally since 2002.

Though I run the show here at Rocdove, at times I work as part of a team or bring in additional designers – it really depends on the nature of the project. Some people might call this arrangement “too small” – I prefer “adaptable,” “flexible,” and “completely free of bureaucratic red tape.” If you decide to work with Rocdove, you’ll never have to kick issues up the chain. You’ll be working directly with the person who makes the decisions and, above all, values your business.

What’s a Rocdove?

Rock Dove. Columba Livia. The common pigeon. Why is a design studio named after such a humble creature? Because of what they’re capable of. When trained and given purpose, these birds are focused, they carry messages, and they reach their target.

In that way, they’re a lot like well-crafted design.
